Welcome to Project CERT and Project ARES.  This is an effort to create 2 ultimate vehicles to be used by local Community Emergency Response Teams and an Amateur Radio Emergency Service® program to help with their operations within their communities and to help promote these programs nationally.
 
Project ARES

    Welcome to Project-ARES, Kaufman County ARES, Inc. is in the process of developing a mobile command unit that will be used by our members during emergency response operations.  This vehicle would be unique in that it would be designed mainly for amateur radio communications, with capabilities to handle other functions.  We have search many places to find a vehicle that meets our needs and we recently located one.  We are now talking with the owner to see if they might be willing to donate the vehicle to us.

    We are asking for your help in raising funds that can be used to help setup our Project-ARES vehicle to our specifications.  We are also going to use some of these funds to possible purchase this vehicle that we have located.  Become a sponsor today and help by making a small donation.  Any amount will do and its all tax deductible.  You can donate right now using Google Checkout below or using your credit card on our Click and Pledge page.
